Cuban climate Cuban Climate Change Scientists Received By President

March 25, 2011 -- Cuban scientists who are in Seychelles to conduct a study on climate change were received by President James Michel at State House yesterday.
The Cuban team, headed by Junana Herminia Serrano Mendez, presented the results of the first phase of the project to President Michel.Â
The scientists also talked about the second stage of the study. The second phase is based on the impact that climate change will have on Mahe, Praslin on La Digue, and on the infrastructure in Seychelles, specifically on the coast.Â
Also present at the State House meeting was Cuba's ambassador to  Seychelles, Mrs Maria Aida Nogales Jimenes.  Â
