Election Candidates At Special Church Event

May 18, 2011 -- The four candidates who are participating in the presidential election this week attended a special prayer service yesterday afternoon at the St Paul's cathedral in Victoria.
The candidates are incumbent James Michel, Wavel Ramkalawan, Ralph Volcere and Philippe Boulle. They were all accompanied by their running mates.
The special prayer service was organized by members of the inter-faith committee. Also present were government ministers, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, staff of the electoral commissioner's office, and a large crowd.
Representatives of the religions present took turn to ask for peace during the 19-21 May election and for respect of the outcome.
