Spain's Nomination For FAO Head

June 1 2011 -- A delegation from Spain met President James Michel at State House yesterday to discuss Seychelles' support for the Spanish nomination as the new director general of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
The Spanish candidate, Mr Miguel Angel Moratinos, a parliamentarian and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, himself headed the delegation to State House. Â
Mr Moratinos detailed his management aims and objectives for the FAO should his nomination be successful.
