Ministers Take Oath Of Office

June 1, 2011 -- Members of re-elected President James Michel's cabinet of ministers took the oaths of office at State House yesterday afternoon.
Their nominations were approved earlier in the day by the National Assembly.
The Ministers continue in their posts as before.
Mr Jacquelin Dugasse who had served as Minster for 18 years, has retired from public service and is joining the private sector. Â
President Michel presided over the swearing-in ceremony.
The members of the cabinet comprise of:
Designated Minister Vincent Meriton, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sport
