Re-Election Of Suketu Patel As President Of COSAFA

President James Michel has sent a message of congratulations to Mr Suketu Patel following his re-election as the President of COSAFA , the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations.
"I wish to personally express my happiness and share the joy of both the government and Seychellois nation following the re-election of Mr Suketu Patel to the post of COSAFA president. Mr Patel, one of our most accomplished footballers and the longest serving president of our Seychelles Football Federation, fully deserves the second COSAFA term. His colleagues in the region have recognized his calm approach to overcoming challenges and his commitment to the development of football in Seychelles, Africa and the world. Mr Patel is also well known as a man of unity, which is necessary to get things done. His achievements in the five years of his first term earned him the trust of all the football associations of the region," said President Michel in his message.
The President said that that with the re-election of Mr. Patel, Seychelles would continue to celebrate the success of Seychellois football in 2011, after the country clinched the prized gold medal at the Indian Ocean Islands Games in August.
"We are proud of Mr Patel's dedication to football. He is an inspiration to our youth. On behalf of the government and people of Seychelles I congratulate him on his re-election. We wish him and his family all the best."
