Pakistan shares Seychelles' concerns with regard to the threat that piracy poses, high commissioner Muhammad Siddique told the national media after meeting President James Michel at State House yesterday.
"We will assist Seychelles in every way we can, especially in terms of capacity-building," said the high commissioner.
He added that Pakistan is set to help Seychelles develop its capacity in various fields such as banking, diplomacy, medical and engineering.
According to the high commissioner, Pakistan is also known for the popular basmati rice it exports.
He noted the support that Seychelles and Pakistan give each other at international forums.     Â
The non-resident high commissioner was on his second visit to Seychelles.
