Vice-President awarded Honorary Doctorate

Vice President Danny Faure was conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by Amity University in India, for his contribution to the world of education, finance and governance at a special convocation held on Friday.

In his acceptance speech, Vice President Faure paid tribute to the leadership role pursued by President James MIchel in advancing the cause of small island developing states within a new global architecture. The Vice President has dedicated his honorary doctorate degree to the courageous and determined people of Seychelles.

Mr Danny Faure received his doctorate degree along side Noble Laureate Professor Yuan Lee and  Vice President of the Asia Development Bank, Mr Bindu Lohani.
