The people of Seychelles in solidarity with China after Kunming terror attacks

President James Michel offered condolences from the Government and people of Seychelles to President Xi Jinping, the people of the People’s Republic of China and to the victims and families of those who perished in the terrorist attacks which occurred in the city of Kunming Saturday 1st of March.

President Michel deplored the acts and in his message stated that Seychelles unreservedly condemns the terror that was perpetrated against the people of Kunming and stands in solidarity with the People’s republic of China at this time of great sadness.

In addition, President Michel noted “in the wake of this tragedy, we also renew our resolve to further strengthen our cooperation with like-minded countries such as China to eliminate the scourge of these acts of terror.”
