President Michel condemns senseless attacks in Abuja and extends sympathies to Nigeria in the wake of bombing

In a letter addressed to His Excellency Goodluck Jonathan, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; President James Michel expressed deep sadness and extended the sympathies of the Government and people of Seychelles to the families of the victims as well as to the Government and people of Nigeria in the wake of the tragic bombing in Abuja causing the loss of so many innocent lives.
President Michel strongly condemned these cruel acts of violence, stating “they only serve to undermine all efforts made to promote peace, tolerance, stability and prosperity of our continent.”
