Air Seychelles board appointed

The Office of the President has announced the appointments, by President James Michel, of the Directors representing the Government of Seychelles on the Board of Air Seychelles Ltd from with effect from 26th April 2014, following the expiry of the term of the previous Board.
The new Board Members include Minister Joel Morgan, who will also continue as Chairman, Minister Pierre Laporte, Ambassador Maurice Loustau-Lalanne, and Mr Jean Weeling-Lee.
The Government of Seychelles holds 60% shares in the company.
The remaining 40% shares are held by Etihad Airways which will nominate the remaining Directors on the Board of Air Seychelles.
President Michel expressed his satisfaction with the performance of Air Seychelles over the last two years, and wished the new Board well in taking Air Seychelles forward to even greater success.
