Appointment of the National Coordinating Committee on Action Against Trafficking in Persons

The President’s Office has announced the appointment of the Members of the National Coordinating Committee on Action Against Trafficking in Persons. They have been appointed for a 3-year period in accordance with Section 21 of the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons Act, 2014.

The Members of the Committee are as follows:

The role of the National Coordinating Committee on Action Against Trafficking in Persons is to formulate policy, strategies, guidelines, programmes and other measures relating to identification and referral of victims of trafficking and provision of services and protection of presumed victims of trafficking and victims of trafficking.
