Seychelles congratulates India on 67th Independence Day

In a message addressed to His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, President of the Republic of India, President James Michel expressed his congratulations on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, to the people of India on the occasion of country's 67th Independence Day celebration.
President Michel noted the dynamic relations that exist between the two countries and highlighted the intensity of exchanges, which take place over the stretch of the Indian ocean as testimony to the strength of cooperation between the two countries.
President Michel took the opportunity to thank the Indian government for the continued assistance it has given to Seychelles and commented on India's unwavering support in Seychelles' path to development.
"Seychelles looks forward to future collaboration and hopes that the admirable relations between our two nations, based on our shared history, values and mutual understating continues to flourish" remarked President Michel.
