Ministry of Health to remain in existing building

The Office of the President has announced that the Ministry of Health will remain in its existing premises and not relocate to a newly-built private building in Mont Fleuri.
Furthermore, no agreement for the rental of any new premises for the Ministry of Health has been signed.
The relocation of the Ministry of Health to the newly-built private building has not been endorsed by Cabinet, though, recognising the constraints faced by the Ministry of Health, not least in terms of office space, Government has, in principle, agreed that additional offices would be required and made available, in due course, to that ministry in appropriate premises.
This will be undertaken within the framework of the re-development of Seychelles Hospital, the master plan of which is under active consideration by Cabinet.
